Publishing & Community Guidelines
InkLust is a creative space for writers and readers.
To keep the platform safe, respectful, and enjoyable, all authors and users are expected to follow these rules.
Rules for Authors
Original Content
Authors must publish only content they have created themselves or content they have the legal right to use.
Plagiarism, unauthorized copying, or publishing someone else's work without permission is not allowed.
Responsibility for Published Stories
Authors are responsible for the stories, descriptions, titles, covers, tags, and any other content they upload to InkLust.
Before publishing, authors must make sure their content respects these rules and does not violate the rights of others.
No Illegal or Harmful Content
Authors may not publish content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for illegal activities, violence, abuse, exploitation, self-harm, or other harmful behavior.
Fictional content may include difficult or dark themes, but it must not glorify real-world harm or encourage dangerous actions.
All Characters Must Be 18+
Every character involved in sexual, romantic, or explicitly mature situations must be portrayed as an adult aged 18 or older.
InkLust does not allow stories featuring minors in sexual, suggestive, or exploitative contexts under any circumstances. This rule applies regardless of the fictional nature of the content.
Respectful Content
Stories must not promote hatred, harassment, discrimination, or dehumanization based on personal characteristics such as ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or identity.
Creative freedom is important, but it must not be used to attack or degrade real people or groups.
Mature Themes and Warnings
If a story contains mature, violent, disturbing, or sensitive themes, the author should clearly mark it in the description.
Readers should be able to understand the general nature of the story before opening it.
No Misleading Information
Authors should not use misleading titles, covers, descriptions, tags, or categories to attract readers.
Content must be presented honestly and placed in the correct category whenever possible.
No Spam or Low-Quality Uploads
Authors must not flood the platform with repeated, empty, misleading, automatically generated, or extremely low-quality content.
InkLust is built for genuine creative publishing, not spam.
No Impersonation
Authors must not pretend to be another person, public figure, organization, or InkLust staff member.
Pen names are allowed, but they must not be used to deceive or harm others.
Moderation and Removal
InkLust may review, hide, edit visibility, or remove stories that violate these rules.
Repeated or serious violations may lead to restrictions, suspension, or removal of the author account.
Rules for Users
Respect Other Members
Users must treat authors, readers, and InkLust staff with respect.
Harassment, insults, threats, bullying, hate speech, or personal attacks are not allowed.
Constructive Feedback
Users are welcome to comment, review, and discuss stories, but feedback should be constructive and respectful.
Criticism of a story is allowed. Attacking the author personally is not.
No Harassment or Targeted Abuse
Users must not repeatedly contact, insult, pressure, or target another person on the platform.
Any behavior intended to intimidate, shame, or silence another user may be moderated.
No Spam
Users must not post repetitive comments, promotional links, scams, fake engagement, or irrelevant messages.
InkLust is a creative community, not a place for advertising abuse.
No Illegal or Dangerous Activity
Users must not use InkLust to request, share, promote, or organize illegal, dangerous, abusive, or exploitative activities.
This includes attempts to use comments, messages, or profiles for harmful purposes.
Respect Authors' Work
Users must not copy, repost, distribute, sell, or claim ownership of stories published by authors on InkLust without permission.
The fact that a story is visible on the platform does not mean it is free to steal or reuse.
Reporting Content
If users find content that seems abusive, illegal, plagiarized, harmful, or against the rules, they should report it instead of attacking the author or starting public conflicts.
Reports help keep InkLust safe and fair.
No Impersonation
Users must not pretend to be another person, author, organization, or InkLust staff member.
False identity, fake official accounts, or deceptive behavior are not allowed.
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for the activity on their account.
They should keep their login information safe and must not use another person's account without permission.
Moderation Actions
InkLust may remove comments, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other moderation actions when users violate these rules.
Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent account removal.
General Platform Principles
Creative Freedom
InkLust supports imagination, storytelling, experimentation, and personal expression.
However, creative freedom must coexist with safety, legality, and respect for others.
Safety First
InkLust may limit or remove content that creates real-world risks, targets vulnerable people, violates rights, or damages the community.
Fair Moderation
Moderation decisions are made to protect the platform, its authors, and its users.
Whenever possible, InkLust aims to handle issues fairly and proportionally.
Rule Updates
InkLust may update these rules over time as the platform grows.
Users and authors are expected to follow the most recent version of the rules.
